I grew up in the small town of Yukon, Oklahoma, spent my college years in Waco, Texas and then drove to Denver, Colorado for graduate school in 2009…and never left :)
A lot of life has happened in those years: went on some hikes, folded some laundry, ate some good food, bought a house, got married, you know - life stuff.
I come from a family of four and have since built a family of four with my wonderful husband, Ryan, and two little girls, Maril & Jean, who bring me joy, laughter and inspire me to “practice what I preach” as a mental health professional.
hi, there!
and something that comes as easy as breathing. I have always been drawn to productive conversation and finding ways to connect with anyone I meet.
This wiring has enabled me to create a safe space for individuals, couples and families to be vulnerable and pursue the changes they wish to make in their relationships and lives every single day.
If you're considering reaching out for my services, please know that I feel incredibly fortunate to accompany you on your journey towards relational and emotional well-being.
I consistently invest my time and money in opportunities for professional growth, including individual consultation, group consultation and continued education.
I value keeping my clinical skills up to date and as evidence based as possible, as my goal is to be the most effective clinician I can be for the clients who trust me with their care. If you have any questions about my continued education pursuits, visit the “what therapeutic interventions inform your work” in the FAQ section.

In a couples counseling session, you can expect me to provide a safe and supportive space where BOTH partners are encouraged to express themselves openly and honestly.
Family Counseling is a collaborative and transformative process that seeks to strengthen relationships, enhance communication, and promote understanding within families.
Research shows that the client-clinician relationship is THE most important predictor of positive outcomes in counseling. Let's get to know each other & see if we might be a good fit!
